WORKSHOP: THROWN & ALTERED OVAL SERVING DISHES

Class Description:
Thrown + Altered Oval Serving Dishes dives into the creative possibilities that open up once you start altering thrown forms. In this workshop  students will make oval serving dishes with a pedestal foot. The class covers throwing bottomless forms, building stronger slabs by hand, and confidently cutting and reassembling components to create clean, intentional shapes. We’ll also explore how to refine the profile of your forms through cutting and subtle alteration. This workshop is best suited for students with experience throwing and centering. Participants will select a studio glaze and fired work will be available for pick up approximately two weeks after your class.

Cancellation policy:
Full refunds are available for classes cancelled 30 before the start date of your class.
Classes cancelled after 30-14 days before the start date of your course will receive a 50% refund.
Classes cancelled within 14 days of the start date of your class are not eligible for a refund.
Classes cancelled due to inclement weather or an instructor emergency will be added on to the back end of the series.
We are not able to offer make up classes for students who miss a class session.
