Class Description: Handbuilt Occasions is a class that explores a variety of handbuilding techniques including: pinched, coil, and slab construction; how to use equipment such as a slab roller and extruder; and surface treatments like creating texture in clay, with a focus on vessels. In this course students will design their own vessels and serving ware and the instructor will assist with techniques instruction and demonstration.
