THIS IS A TWO DAY WORKSHOP

Two-day creel-making class for experienced weavers. You'll work with a D-shaped base, exploring scalloped back stakes and adding stakes through the hoop and corners. We'll weave up the sides using three rod wale, randing, and packing techniques while navigating corners and shaping a bellied front. The basket includes a woven rod border, lid (hole optional), and leather details. Adaptable as either a fishing creel or stylish purse. This project does require good hand strength.
