Class Description:
Exploring Underglazes is a surface focused class that will explore all the possibilities working with underglazes. This course will work with velvet underglazes, pencils, and chalks and teach painting and layering techniques, washes, methods of combining underglazes with studio glazes, and underglaze transfers. The studio will provide a limited number of tiles for participants to test on, but students will provide their own bisqueware.
