Level: Intermediate

Class Description:
Design and create a personalized ceramic tea set while developing the technical skills needed to throw and assemble multi-part forms. In this intermediate class, students will explore the art of designing cohesive teapots, teacups, and saucers while learning the construction and function of spouts, lids and handles.

Through demonstrations and guided practice, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of throwing in parts, refining proportions, and creating functional forms.

Students must be able to center 2-3 pounds of clay. Reach out if you’d like to schedule a private lesson beforehand so you can get get up to speed!

Included:
Unlimited Open Studio time during class enrollment
12 lbs of fresh clay
Shared shelf space

Cancellation policy:
Full refunds (minus a 5% processing fee) are available for registrations cancelled 30 before the start date of your course.
Registrations cancelled 14-30 days before the start date of your course will receive a 50% refund (minus a 5% processing fee).
Registrations cancelled within 14 days of the start date of your course are not eligible for a refund.
Class sessions cancelled due to inclement weather or an instructor emergency will be added on to the back end of the series.

For multi-week courses, a missed class may be made up by attending a comparable session on a different day, subject to availability and scheduled at the discretion of the office staff.
