Class Description:
In this intermediate class, we’ll use the wheel to make functional pieces like non-round casserole dishes, spice jars, canisters, and more. We’ll combine wheel-throwing with handbuilding techniques, including slab construction, altering forms, and making intentional cuts to create beautiful, unexpected profiles.

You should be comfortable centering 1 lb of clay to get the most out of this class. New to the wheel or need a little extra practice? Reach out about scheduling a private lesson beforehand.

Unlimited Open Studio time during class enrollment
12 lbs of fresh clay
Shared shelf space

Cancellation & refund policy:
Our cancellation policy applies to all registrations, whether you pay in full or choose a payment plan.
Cancellations made 30 or more days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations made 14–29 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund, minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date are not eligible for a refund. If Fallkill Creative Works cancels a class, registered students will receive a full refund. If a session of a multi-week class is canceled due to inclement weather or an instructor emergency, a make-up session will be added to the end of the course.
