Class Description:
Level up your throwing with Lena in this eight-week class focused on making functional jars on the wheel. Think cookie jars, flour and sugar canisters, storage vessels, and more - just in time for the holidays!

You’ll work on throwing larger, more consistent forms, creating well-fitting lids, and refining your skills with lidded vessels. We’ll also explore surface design using underglazes, with a focus on developing patterns, illustrations, and color.

You should be comfortable centering 1-2 lb of clay to get the most out of this class. New to the wheel or need a little extra practice? Reach out about scheduling a private lesson beforehand!

Cancellation & refund policy:
Our cancellation policy applies to all registrations, whether you pay in full or choose a payment plan.
Cancellations made 30 or more days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations made 14–29 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund, minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date are not eligible for a refund. If Fallkill Creative Works cancels a class, registered students will receive a full refund. If a session of a multi-week class is canceled due to inclement weather or an instructor emergency, a make-up session will be added to the end of the course.
